Selling at Auction

In order to sell on Sorollasubastas.com, you must fill out and send us the information of your lots, in the VALUATIONS form (1 for each lot). We will make a joint study of their value and once we have reached an agreement, we will take them out in our next online auctions.


THE VALUATIONS
Art auction appraisals are free and can be requested by submitting each of your images online or by mailing your photos along with a submission form, with the following information:

In addition to the information requested on the registration form, we will also ask you for your bank details. And if you are a professional seller, the tax identification number, and if applicable, the seller's VAT identification number, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
As a seller at Sorolla Subastas, you should know that Sorolla arte complies with the EU right of withdrawal. If you use our portal for professional purposes, you acknowledge and accept that in certain cases, buyers from the European Economic Area (EEA) may have a "right of withdrawal" of 14 days and return the goods purchased. Please read our (
Right of Withdrawal Policy) for more information.


TO BE ABLE TO OFFER LOTS

Once you have made the decision to sell, we will indicate the date of the possible exit to auctions and the estimate of the work.
You will then need to send us the lots to our central warehouse at the following address:

If you are shipping products from abroad, shipping charges, customs duties and import taxes may apply. We will provide you with detailed instructions for shipping by a ground transportation agency and so that you do not have any problems with customs clearance. Once it is sold and within a stipulated period of about 30/45 days, we will proceed to settle the value of it, after deducting the sales commission, as well as any other expenses that may have been incurred.
We will make initial estimates and when we agree on the terms of sale, we will send you a Contract and Release Sheet, listing the items and indicating the planned sale dates, estimated prices and reserves.
Before you send your artwork, please register online. The fee below covers the charges for the catalogue, web illustration, data entry, etc. These settlements will be taxed with the corresponding VAT at all times.

For works of authors subject to the law 22/87 on intellectual property, the corresponding deduction will be applied where appropriate and will be for the account of the seller.
We will automatically insure your property at the negotiated estimated price from the moment we receive your property, but it is recommended that you insure your property through your own insurance policy.


THE LOTS IN AUCTIONS
Once we have accepted your lot and we have it in Sorolla Arte Subastas, other Users can make bids on your lot, and therefore you accept the following rules:


SENDING OR COLLECTION OF LOTS
Once your lot has been sold, we will ask the buyer to pay the full amount of the online sale, plus shipping costs (if any). As soon as the Buyer has paid, we will let you know. The goods will be sent to the buyers within 3/5 days. Prior to this and in order to put them up for auction, the works must be sent to the address of SOROLLA SUBASTAS DE ARTE, and from our warehouse they will be sent to the buyer.


PAYMENT OF LOTS
If your artwork has been sold, we will send you a notification of the result of the auction indicating the price reached as well as the commission and any other expenses. We will transfer the payment to the registered bank account.
In the event that the work does not meet the minimum bid at the auction and no buyer has been found, we will continue to treat it as a "DIRECT SALE" for two weeks after the auction. If a buyer is not found, we will contact you to lower the sale price, to pick up the property or to reassign it to a future auction with a lower value.  If the sale is finally unsuccessful, we offer free storage for 20 days after the auction. You must collect the works of your property before the end of this period, otherwise and from that date, a storage fee of 3 ? per day will be charged. Transport fees and insurance for return to your home are your responsibility.


RENEGE ON YOUR OBLIGATIONS
If you fail to comply with your obligations to us under the Terms and Conditions of Use, we may decide to cancel the transaction of the relevant lot and rescind the sale. In that case, if we decide to cancel the sale, we may hold you liable for all damages and costs incurred by us, including buyer's commission expenses, if any.
